Refund Policy

Ask My Lawyer Pty Ltd does not offer a money-back or satisfaction guarantee. Refunds are only available where the purchased product or service has not been delivered, subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Undelivered products and services

If your purchased product or service has not been delivered, contact us with your booking reference so we can review the non-delivery and arrange an eligible refund. A change of mind or dissatisfaction alone does not qualify for a refund under this policy. This does not limit your statutory consumer rights.

Consultations not provided

If we do not provide your scheduled consultation, we will offer to reschedule it at no additional cost. We may reschedule the consultation up to two times before initiating a refund if the consultation remains undelivered.

If you miss your consultation

If you do not attend your scheduled consultation and have not rescheduled it beforehand, your payment is non-refundable. Your lawyer has reserved that time for you, and the service is treated as delivered. Where the lawyer's availability allows, we'll be glad to help you rebook, but a missed consultation does not qualify for a refund under this policy. If something unexpected comes up, please use your rescheduling link or contact us as early as you can.

How to request a refund

Payments are securely processed by our payment provider, Stripe. To request a refund:

1. Email our support team at admin@askmylawyer.com.au with your booking reference.
2. We'll review your request and, where eligible, issue the refund back to your original payment method.

Processing time

Approved refunds are typically returned to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
